“ Que hermoso coffee shop! What an awesome coffee shop. As Latinos, we felt so welcomed from their coffee menu, pastries and the music playing my morning cafecito with the best Spanish jams, yes please. We grabbed the cafe con leche and the guava cheese pastry SO GOOD. Were taking empanadas to go. Come by for the vibes, good coffee and stunning coffee shop. Downtown Oakland needed this place. “ Brewja recently reopened with new hours 7am12pm! Im so thrilled I decided to pop in. I got the horchata latte, which is on the sweeter side. I prefer that but if you dont, definitely ask for it to be adjusted. The atmosphere is cozy and has many tables to sit and study if you need good coffee and great sunlight. Their pastries look so good I cant wait to try them when I go next. The owner is also a woman of color and a community member who immediately welcomed me in! I could not recommend this place more ”
“ Delicious Mexican Mocha,pumpkin bread was moist and tasty. Friendly and helpful service, bright and clean modern interior. Comfortable window seats. Good wifi. Too bad they close so early. I would drop in more often if they were open later than 2pm. Great place to work or read for a while. ”
